A Revolution in Motion

Public Art Installation – Riverside Park, New Bedford, MA, 2025

A Revolution in Motion is a public art installation composed of 20 windmills made from soda cans, suspended at various heights from the top of the fence that borders Riverside Park along the Acushnet River.

As the wind passes through, the cans chime like small urban bells. Conceived as a living metaphor of resistance, this piece invites the public to walk among the upright fragments of a collective story—evoking resilience, memory, and the ever-evolving voices of the community.

Born from the intersection of art, place, and participation, A Revolution in Motion is a quiet and persistent revolution, like the flow of the river that echoes the heartbeat of the city.
